Can I visit the space if I’m not a member?

Yes! Anyone can come in, enjoy a drink, hang out in the lounge or bar, and see what people are playing. Anyone can also join our community online on Discord. We also have weekly Events where anyone can drop in to hobby or play. And if you want to reserve a table but can’t commit to a membership, we offer day passes.

Making Waystone as accessible as possible is important to us. We offer a reduced-cost membership option, and do our best to host events and curate a space that is open to anyone regardless of membership.

Can I play games other than Warhammer at Waystone?

Yes! We have a growing library of terrain pieces and game mats for Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar, Kill Team, Warcry, Blood Bowl, Necromunda, and Battletech, and the tables can be reserved for any miniatures-based games. Our Discord is a great place to get a sense of what games people are playing, and it’s open to everyone.

Do I have to reserve a table in advance to play at Waystone?

For the most part, yes. Memberships and table reservations are what keep our space running! This also allows us to maximize our use of the space, set up terrain for you ahead of time, and ensure that no one ever arrives to find that their table isn’t available!

Are minors allowed inside Waystone?

Waystone is entirely 21+. Thank you for helping us stay in compliance with the law!

Can I have my birthday party at Waystone?

Yes! Make this year one to remember and let us help you celebrate in style by booking a private event at Waystone. Looking for a space for your company’s holiday party? Or an elegant wedding reception? We do those, too.

Is there food?

We have some small snacks available, but you can also bring in your own food—there are a number of great spots just a hop, skip and a jump away.

Is there parking?

There is a paid parking lot on the north side of the building (off of 56th street). Street parking on 56th street is free after 8pm and on Sundays. There is also quite a bit of unpaid street parking within 2 blocks or so of our location (especially north and west).

Will Waystone be open if it’s snowing?

Sometimes! In the unlikely event that Waystone’s scheduled staff member cannot guarantee their own safe arrival to the premises due to inclement weather or an act of God, Waystone will be closed. A staff member will notify members of the closure via our Discord Server.
